Booking tours in Rome
Why is the same tour a different price on each site?
Operators set a base price and each booking site adds its own margin and runs its own promotions. The gap is usually a few euros, sometimes twenty. Direct is often cheapest but rarely refundable. Check the cancellation terms as well as the price before you book.
Does booking through The Euro Concierge cost more?
No. You pay the booking site's price. They pay us a commission for the referral. It is the same price you would see going to them directly, and it never affects which listings we put first.
What does chosen mean?
A person on our side went, wrote the note, and would send a friend. Everything else is listed: real and running, but not something we have done ourselves.
How far ahead should I book?
Every listing says. The Borghese and the Colosseum arena floor need three to four weeks in spring and autumn. Most walking and food tours are fine a few days out. Day trips fill a week ahead in summer.
