Staying in Syntagma: finding your bearings
The square has several distinct edges, so an address matters more than the neighborhood label. Accommodation toward Mitropoleos leads naturally into the older center, while the Amalias side puts the National Garden nearby. Identify your hotel street before leaving the metro: crossing the square at surface level can add unnecessary backtracking when you have luggage.
