Staying in Monte-Carlo: finding your way on foot
A short distance on the map can involve several changes of level here. Avenue des Beaux-Arts leads toward Casino Square, while Avenue d'Ostende drops toward the harbor. Before choosing accommodation, trace the route from its actual entrance to the station. A room facing an upper street can have a very different walk home from one reached through a lower entrance.

Casino Square
From Avenue des Beaux-Arts, allow about five minutes on foot to reach the square and look across its planted central space.

Eating in Monte-Carlo
Brasserie du Café de Paris places you directly beside Casino Square, while Pavyllon Monte-Carlo suits a longer restaurant meal. Check menus and booking arrangements before settling on either. For a quick breakfast, look along the streets behind the square for a bakery or cafe, rather than assuming every hotel entrance leads to a casual dining room.
